I qualified as a doctor in 1994. I undertook four years of postgraduate medical training, three years of research and five years of higher gastroenterology Specialist training in the UK. I became a Consultant Gastroenterologist in 2006. My current NHS practice is based at the University Hospital of Wales Cardiff, where I undertake regular gastroenterology clinics, specialist inflammatory bowel disease clinics, weekly endoscopy lists and provide inpatient and emergency gastroenterology service. I am experienced in managing patients with various gastrointestinal problems and has a special interest in managing patients with Inflammatory bowel diseases (Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's disease) I am involved in clinical research and keep up-todate with my knowledge by attending International Gastroenterology conferences annually.
